I am C-1 Schroth Trained PT, and have taken Karena’s courses, but feel that with this population, having more choices for treatment options/ lenses to view the situation is an asset.

After taking your scoliosis class I started working via zoom with my mom who has scoliosis and knee issues. I have been using a lot of the material from your class and it has been amazing. She had quite a knock-knee on her right, with the knee collapsing inward and now her leg is nearly straight. And, it really is due to working with the scoliosis - I haven’t done that much on the knee itself. I am actually surprised as I thought that the knee valgus would persist……

Pilates Therapeutics' Scoliosis Specialization is a top-notch program for any Pilates instructor interested in continuing their education and working with this special population. Suzanne's material (and her presentation of it) is very well-organized and is truly an amazing body of work that she has honed and refined over many years. She created an extremely thorough manual of research, articles and exercises to accompany the program and was also able to connect the dots in a way that most continuing education courses do not. I feel like I came away with not only the knowledge but the ability to apply it and explain it, which is key. I learned so much that weekend that I still use today! Thanks again!
