1. How do I get access to my certificate?

All sections MUST be marked as complete, including the evaluation, to be issued a certificate.

2. How long is my certificate valid?

Certificates are valid for 1 year past the approval date listed on the certificate.

3. Will Pilates Therapeutics apply for renewal of my certification?

No, the process is that you must upload your personal certificate to the NPCP website 

The course certification number(s) are the critical element needed for renewal. Each course approval authorizing agency designates its own approval numbers on an annual basis.

4. Are the Pilates Therapeutics courses valid for other wellness fields such as massage or nursing?

Courses are approved for Pilates instructors and physical therapists. There may be exceptions, so please check with your certification authority.

5. Are the Pilates Therapeutics courses valid for other fitness certifications?

Yes, there is a possibility that the courses can be used for other fitness agencies such as ACE, AFAA, and ACSM. However, each course must be filed with a special petition, called a challenge, to be reviewed by the renewal team of the agency. There will be a fee for this service that the individual learner must provide.

6. How do I enroll for Extended Access for Pilates Therapeutics courses?

Extended Access is a voluntary subscription program. To enroll, click the Extended Access button first, and then select your course of choice.

It is a great deal in that the learner gets a 20% discount on the registration of the current course, and for all the courses of enrollment for the life of the subscription

7. How long are courses active without the extended access option?

Please note that all courses are given a one-month active period. The course becomes active as soon as the registration is complete. So please plan your time accordingly.

8. What if there are questions about the course content?

Tutoring office hours are available for a nominal fee. Private medical questions are not allowed, but should be directed by way of the contact button with Dr. Martin on the site.
